Founded in 1904 Maidenhead Hockey Club runs Men's and Ladies' sides every Saturday. These sides compete in regional and local leagues and provide opportunities for all ages and abilities. Coaching resources are available to all their members. They also enter a number of cup competitions for men, women, mixed and veterans on both a national and regional level, with these games usually being held on a Sunday. Their thriving Colts community trains chiefly on a Sunday morning and caters for boys and girls from Under-8s to Under-18s. Their dedicated team of coaches has produced numerous players who have gone on to compete at the highest level, including Matt Daly and Jon Potter.
The club has access to two quality astroturf pitches in Maidenhead, their own water based pitch at Altwood School and a sand-dressed pitch, run by Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, at Braywick. Their clubhouse offers members the chance to relax and enjoy some light refreshments in its scenic location in Bray, by the River Thames.
